Anna-Alisa Belous is native to St. Petersburg, Russia where she completed her M.F.A. in Textile Design from Art and Design Academy. In 1991, she relocated to the U.S. and worked in the Seattle area as a hair-dresser, wig maker for theater, costumer, and scenic painter. In 2001, Anna-Alisa completed her M.F.A. in Costume Design from Brandies University. She then moved to NYC, where she works as a costume designer in dance, theater, and film. This is Anna-Alisa’s second production with Modus Opera and she hopes to continue working with them in the future.
