Brian Holman
Assistant Conductor

Brian Holman has assisted in the musical preparation of Die Fledermaus and L'elisir d'amore with Regina Opera, as well as Don Giovanni and Die Schauspieldirektor with Opera Company of Astoria. Future projects this season include Un ballo in maschera with Regina Opera, Le nozze di Figaro with Modus Opera, and Tosca with New Rochelle Opera. A native of Tucson, Arizona, Brian received bachelor's degrees in English and piano from Arizona State University, and completed his master's degree in piano at Manhattan School of Music. As a pianist, Brian has given recitals in both the United States and Europe, has appeared with Norwalk Youth Symphony at Carnegie Hall, and has been heard on KBAQ radio in Phoenix with ASU Symphony. He is currently on the theory faculty at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.
