Jennifer Graf, coloratura soprano, earned her Master’s Degree from The New England Conservatory of Music and her Bachelor’s Degree from West Chester University, both in Vocal Performance. Favorite operatic roles performed include Madame Herz (The Impresario), Adina (L’Elisir d’Amore), Giulietta (I Capuleti e i Montecchi), Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Musetta (La Boheme), Frasquita (Carmen), and Olympia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann.) Musical theatre credits include Meet Me in St. Louis, Camelot, and Oklahoma! Ms. Graf sang the soprano solos in Vivaldi’s Gloria and Magnificat and in Mozart’s Requiem with the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra and was first soprano soloist for Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with the Philadelphia Classical Symphony. She recently performed as soprano soloist in Bach’s St. Matthew Passion at the Kimmel Center and in Handel’s Messiah with Philadelphia’s Ama Deus Ensemble.
Jennifer also has extensive experience singing and performing early music. She is a member, and featured soloist, of the Vox Renaissance Consort, located in the Philadelphia area. Jennifer was also a member of Voices Rising, an early music group in Boston, and was president of the West Chester University Chamber Choir, which specialized in music of the Renaissance.
Jennifer, a native of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, currently resides in Hellertown, Pennsylvania with her husband, Brian Smith. She studies voice with Dr. Kathryn Chilcote.
