Jennifer E. Learned received her B. Mus Honor degree from the University of Hull (England). Favorite roles performed include Monica (The Medium), Laetitia (Old Maid and the Thief), Rose Maybud (Ruddigore) and Minnie Fay (Hello Dolly). Ms. Learned is a frequent recitalist, recently performing an all-Sondheim concert with collaborator Steve Sweeting. She has directed The Magic Flute (Mozart), Christopher Columbus (Offenbach), and The Sorcerer (Gilbert and Sullivan) and created costumes for the HB Ensemble Company and New York Metro Vocal Arts Ensemble (NYMVAE). She will be directing NYMVAE’s 2007 production of The Marriage of Figaro.
